Eight individuals earned Silent Warrior Awards

The Silent Warrior Award was created to recognize the efforts of the people “behind the scenes” who are important to the success of the Warrior athletic program. These people are givers. They give freely of their time, treasure and talent, seeking no recognition in return. They give only to ensure that participation on a Warrior team is something a little extra special.

This year’s Silent Warrior Awards were given to Heidi Hagen, Bruce Boland, Krista Schuler, Nick and Rachel Hoelz, Jill Neumann and Mike and Tiffani Knapp.

The Bud Schmid Award is given annually to a Brainerd Warrior Assistant Coach of the Year. This year’s recipient was

Julie Davidge

of the Warrior dance team.

Brainerd’s Minnesota State High School League’s Triple-A recipients were

Claire Erdal
