The challenge for many shrines in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is simply finding where they are. The Jogou Shrine can be one of the more difficult shrines to locate in Tears of the Kingdom if players aren’t sure where to look.

Using the first method, players should travel west of the Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower to reach the Lanayru Road – East Gate.

A single Moblin patrols this section of the road, and players can choose to either fight or avoid it. They can then jump from the road and glide back in the direction of the East Gate. Players will find the mouth of the Lanayru Road East Cave at water level. There will be several enemies within the cave, so players should be alert.

The second entrance has fewer enemies but requires more of a trek.

With either entrance, players should eventually come to a large cavern with a pillar surrounded by water in the middle.

From the side of the room with the two entrances, the green glow from the Jogou Shrine can be seen through an opening in the pillar.

However, due to the dampness of the cave, it will be impossible for Link to scale the side of the pillar without the use of the Froggy Suit or a Sticky Elixir.

Players can brew a Sticky Elixir by cooking a Sticky Frog or Sticky Lizard with any monster part. Adding more sticky critters when brewing the elixir will extend the length of time its effect is active.

Fortunately, there is an alternative entrance to the shrine’s hidden alcove. Players should make their way around the pillar, being mindful of the patrol of Bokoblins led by a Boss Bokoblin that scales to the player’s level.

On the opposite side of the pillar from the opening, there is a wall of breakable rock at water level.

Unless players can get in close with a raft or ice, players will need to break the rocks by attaching a Bomb Flower to an arrow.

Once the rocks have been broken, Link will be able to swim across the water and climb into the alcove where the Jogou Shrine is waiting.

The shrine contains Rauru’s Blessing that will award a Light of Blessing to the player without any additional challenges. There is also a Hearty Elixir in the shrine’s chest that can heal players beyond their normal maximum health.
