Rock the South organizers push back Saturday opening time
If you’re heading to Rock the South for another day of fun, you might not want to leave just yet.
According to festival organizers, due to rainfall in the Cullman area, parking lots won’t open until 2 p.m. Workers of the festival will be using extra time to prepare the venue and parking lots for another day of festivities.
The opening times for other things at the festival have been pushed back as well. Ticket gates will open at 3 p.m., and music will start at 4 p.m.
Festival organizers are asking that people don’t show up until 2 p.m. as they won’t be admitted prior to that time. According to the festival’s social media pages, the full musical lineup is still set to perform tonight.
The event, which specializes in country and Southern rock music, was canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic.
Throughout the years, the event has drawn artists like Luke Bryan, Sam Hunt and Dierks Bentley.
