On Sunday, January 8th, 2023 Diane Christine Feerick, loving wife, mother and grandmother of six, passed away. She was 69 years old. Born in Queens, New York to Joan and Edward Radigan, Diane grew up in Carteret, New Jersey where she met the love of her life, William Feerick. They were married for 38 years.

Diane was a Jack of all trades. She worked as a Baker, Preschool Teacher, Nanny, and Elderly Companion for several years. She was a Bookkeeper for William’s auto repair business for 8 years before suffering a brain aneurysm and stroke in 1996. Diane’s strength kept her going and she would continue bookkeeping for 14 more years. She would later spend her time taking piano lessons, volunteering at her Church’s local food pantry, and taking care of her loving family and home. Later in life, she was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease, which never seemed to slow her down or dampen her spirit.

Diane also had a love of gardening in her yard, reading books, watching the Yankees win, listening to classic rock music, watching sunsets and going to the beach. She enjoyed baking with her daughters and watching crime tv shows with her husband. Diane was very creative and loved to do crafts. She would bring her creativity when it was time to help her daughters’ with school projects.

Diane was best known for her sarcastic sense of humor and strong spirit. She is survived by her loving husband, William Feerick and devoted dog, Zeus; children, Alicia (Steve) Wolstenholme and Kelly (Drew) Horner; sisters, Irene (Tom) Burns and Valerie (Glenn) Ryan; grandchildren, Mila, Amra, Isla, Kaia, Kira and Liam. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 27th, 2023 at 1:00 p.m, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at DeGusipe Funeral Home & Crematory in Maitland, FL.
