Boygenius to Perform at 2023 Tibet House US Benefit Concert

Boygenius will perform at the Tibet House US Benefit Concert tomorrow night (March 1). As well as Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, and Julien Baker, this year’s edition of the Carnegie Hall concert also features performances from Philip Glass (the event’s artistic director), Arooj Aftab, New Order’s Bernard Sumner and Tom Chapman, Laurie Anderson, Gogol Bordello, and more.

Uma Thurman, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Peter Sarsgaard, and Arden Wohl will be the evening’s honorary chairs. Bridgers has played at the annual event twice before, in 2020 (alongside Iggy Pop and Patti Smith, among others) and 2021 (with Brittany Howard, Eddie Vedder, and more). Boygenius are preparing to release their debut album, The Record, and teed it up with three songs: “$20,” “Emily I’m Sorry,” and “True Blue.”
